Making payments
Weatherbys debit card
Your Weatherbys debit card makes buying online or in person simple, whether you’re at home or abroad. You can use it for contactless payments and also add it to your digital Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet to pay using your phone.
You can also have a cheque book if you need one.
Weatherbys EUR and USD debit cards
Your Weatherbys euro debit card compliments your Euro Currency Account. Your Weatherbys US dollar debit card is the perfect partner to your Weatherbys Bank US Dollar Account. Spend in euros or US dollars with no foreign exchange fees and no conversion surprises.
0% on non-sterling transaction fees
We don’t charge fees on your debit cards.
Contactless payments
Your debit, euro and US dollar cards are automatically enabled for contactless payments. Mobile payments are available through both Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can activate this functionality by adding your card to your mobile Wallet.
Overdrafts
If you’d like an overdraft, it will need to be agreed with your private banker. A fee for the set up and interest will be due on the amount borrowed.
Be aware that overdrafts are generally not suited to longer-term borrowing and we review them each year. You can find out more about lending and mortgages here.
