Having joined Weatherbys Private Bank in 2016, Hayley currently works within the Scotland office, based in Edinburgh. As Private Banker, Hayley manages a highly diverse portfolio of clients located across the UK, providing bespoke and personalised advice on their banking, lending and investment-related requirements. Her clients range from entrepreneurs to land owners. Hayley is supported by Harry McCorkell, Private Banking Executive, who works to support the portfolio. Day to day, Hayley particularly enjoys being on the road and meeting with clients.
Prior to joining Weatherbys, Hayley spent nine years at Bank of Scotland Private Banking, during which she gained experience assisting Relationship Managers and providing partnership loans to UK firms. Previously, Hayley was a Financial Crime Officer, liaising directly with the National Crime Agency. Over the course of her career, Hayley has accumulated significant professional qualifications including CEMAP and IAD. She is also a qualified mortgage adviser and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
Testament to her expertise and accomplishments within Private Banking, Hayley has been recognised within the Spear’s 500 for the past two years. In 2020, Hayley was celebrated as a Rising Star within the Wealth Management Sector, an achievement which was immediately followed by her inclusion within the Spear’s 500 list of Recommended Wealth Managers in 2021.
While Hayley is constantly involved in a diverse and dynamic range of projects within her portfolio, especially notable is her recent assistance to the owners of Lanrick Estate. Treasured by the family since 1904, the owners had increasingly struggled with inflexible lenders before Weatherbys, represented by Hayley, stepped in to finance and restore the estate.
Meanwhile, outside of Weatherbys Private Bank, Hayley enjoys music, backpacking – accompanied by her dog – and travelling across many different countries!
