Hayley joined Weatherbys Private Bank in 2016 and is based in our Scotland office, situated in Edinburgh. As a private banker, she manages a highly diverse portfolio of clients across the UK, offering tailored, personal advice on banking, lending and investment matters. Her client base spans entrepreneurs, landowners and professionals, each benefiting from her thoughtful and bespoke approach. Hayley is supported by Stuart Macleod, Private Banking Executive, and particularly enjoys travelling to meet clients face-to-face, an aspect of the role she finds especially rewarding.
Before joining Weatherbys, Hayley spent a decade at Bank of Scotland Private Banking, gaining valuable experience supporting relationship managers and providing partnership loans to UK businesses. Her earlier career included serving as a Financial Crime Officer, where she liaised directly with the National Crime Agency.
Throughout her career, Hayley has continued to deepen her expertise, earning distinguished qualifications including the Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice and accreditations from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, namely the Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4) and the Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification (Level 6). She remains an active member of both institutions.
Recognised for her accomplishments within the private banking sector, Hayley has been featured in the Spear’s 500 since 2020. That same year, she was named a Rising Star in the Wealth Management industry, followed by her inclusion in the Spear’s list of Recommended Wealth Managers in 2021, a recognition she continues to receive annually.
Away from the office, Hayley enjoys music and travel, often finding inspiration and balance through the experiences they bring.
