George is a Private Banker in the London office supporting a portfolio of clients with both lending and investments, as well as their day-to-day banking needs. Having joined initially through our internship scheme, George progressed to our Associate Private Banker programme, which he completed in early 2025.
As a banker, George looks after a diverse book of clients, with a range of financial requirements and backgrounds. As part of this, George helps to support our US Citizens service, helping to facilitate UK banking and lending to clients who have interests on both sides of the Atlantic. George can help clients navigate the often complex and restrictive legislation that US-connected individuals face in setting up UK banking, as well as helping them with mortgages and credit facilities.
George read Classics at Durham University, achieving a first-class honours degree. Between completing his time as an intern and rejoining as an Associate Private Banker, George spent a year working in Spain developing his proficiency in Spanish.
To enhance his industry knowledge, George has successfully completed the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and CISI Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) professional qualifications and is Level 6 qualified. He is also qualified to give lending advice, having completed the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP).
Outside of work, George spends most of his time either playing or following sport. He particularly enjoys playing football, padel and, more recently, golf (albeit rather poorly!).
