Weatherbys strives to create opportunities for young people through our programme for aspiring individuals.
Weatherbys Private Bank has made it a priority to invest in students who have an interest in a career in private banking.
As a business, we can provide excellent training with exposure to multiple departments within the Bank. This enables students to build a work history, expand their professional skill sets and lay the foundations for a career in Private Banking, whether as a banker or in other areas of our business.
We have limited places on the programme which takes place every summer and as an intern you will be supporting our teams with a diverse range of live projects and real business challenges. You will gain a real insight into our range of products, services and business areas, while making an impact in the time you are with us. We have celebrated great success over many years running the programme, with some interns and graduates returning to us on a permanent basis after their studies.
The programme (may vary depending on location)
We can offer internship opportunities across all areas of the business. Whether you wish to work with client-facing teams in banking, business development and investment and wealth advice, or within our core functions such as IT, HR, finance, risk, compliance and operations, we will ensure you gain a well-rounded understanding of the business.
Where and when will this start?
This in-person internship will be based in one of our three offices: London, Edinburgh or Wellingborough. Remote work options are not available.
Typically, the programme starts towards the end of June or beginning of July and runs for a period of eight weeks.
