Tom joined Weatherbys in 2017, initially in a business development role until his appointment as Private Banker in 2021. Working in our London office, he is principally supported by Dominic Overy-Owen, who has also formed strong relationships with Tom’s clients.
Tom’s experience is accompanied by professional qualifications in the form of the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM). Tom is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).
Before joining us, Tom spent six successful years as Assistant Trainer to the champion National Hunt trainer, Paul Nicholls, OBE. This blend of expertise saw Tom build strong relationships with our Racing Bank clients in his business development role and, as a Private Banker, he now enjoys looking after the private banking, lending and investments for many of these clients, too.
He particularly likes this aspect of his job where he looks after clients and families across the country who have often started with the bank for their racing requirements but enjoying the personal service they experienced with Weatherbys, then decided to join as private clients.
Outside of Weatherbys and his love of horse racing, you will find Tom keeping active through his passion for running, riding and looking after his young family.
